Kevin Perumal

Acting Director

Kevin holds an LLB Degree, a Post Graduate Diploma in Human Management Training and a Post Graduate Diploma in Local Government Management and Development. He is an admitted advocate of the High Court of South Africa and has gained considerable experience as a certified conciliator and arbitrator of the CCMA.

He has extensive community, political and local government experience having been a Municipal Councillor from 1994 to 2000. He is also well versed in employer organisations as well as trade unions, having worked in the union movement for over 15 years as well as represented many employer organisations in various forums. He offers key insight and direction to the Rivlife Community Centre.



Serusha Pillay

Assistant Director

Serusha obtained a Post Graduate Honours Degree in English Language and Literature. She has also earned a Bachelor of Social Sciences in Psychology from the University of KwaZulu-Natal. She functions as the Project Officer and facilitates initiatives which cater for the spiritual, social, economic and physical needs of the community. She is also responsible for major communications within our network. She is passionate about mentoring youth from surrounding schools and offers counselling support.

Krish Pillay

Finance and Property Manager

Krish has extensive experience in the retail sector and possesses a keen understanding of the FMCG environment. Having spent many years in senior management, today Krish is responsible for managing the finances of Rivlife and oversees its operations. He also manages all matters pertaining to the property including all other estates acquired under River of Life Christian Ministries.

Sandra Pillay

Administration Officer

Sandra holds a Diploma in Theology from Chaldo Bible Institute and is passionate about serving others. She offers support to the administration of the Rivlife Community Centre and plays a vital role in the execution of all major events.

Noelene Charles

Hospitality & Public Relations Officer

Noelene gained experience in Public Relations at the Albert Falls Conference Guest Lodge and Conference Centre. She now uses her knowledge in marketing and public relations at the Rivlife Community Centre and ROLCM where she manages hospitality and donor communications.


Queen Ndawonde

Social Worker

Queen has studied social work at the University of KwaZulu-Natal and has spent some time as a social worker for the Department of Foster Care in Johannesburg. Queen specialises in Community Social services and statutory work. She is passionate about helping her community and offers her support to clients through home-based care.

Funani Myeza

Social worker & Crèche manager

Funani has studied Public Management at Mangosuthu Technikon. She holds a degree in Social Work from the University of South Africa. She enjoys working with children and oversees the facilitators at the Rivlife crèche. She is also actively involved in youth development at secondary schools in the region and is motivated by the opportunity to empower others.
